Niterói is a city of about 500,000 inhabitants located in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro. The local city council has started a process to improve urban mobility in the area, especially with the establishment of a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) corridor and bicycle facilities. Now, the city wants to assess the feasibility of a 12 km tram corridor, linking the northern and southern sectors of the city and serving the city center.
DVDH is the representative of the group composed of Richez_Associés (architecture, urban planning and landscape), Transamo (operation of public transport and systems) and SCE (infrastructure). DVDH ensures project coordination between all stakeholders, proposes a strategic vision of mobility and makes sure to bring a holistic view of the project in order to ensure its realization.
