Our main areas of intervention

Master plans and policies of sustainable mobility

Support public authorities in planning and defining urban mobility policies, taking into account both metropolitan and neighborhood travel, differentiated by population category (women, children, the elderly, people in precarious situations, etc.), and taking into account paratransit, the challenges of revitalizing city centers, the need for pedestrianization, and the development of active modes of transport.

Examples of achievements:

PMUD of Rabat (Morocco)
PMUD of Yaoundé (Cameroon)

Implementation of transportation systems

Conducting feasibility studies for the implementation of dedicated public transport (TCSP), particularly trams and BRT, as well as studies for the restructuring of bus networks. This involves, among other things, selecting a mode adapted to the local situation, assessing demand, proposing and comparing different route alternatives, locating stops and the maintenance center, assessing financial profitability, calculating commercial speed, and proposing a governance structure.

Examples of achievements:

Feasibility study for the Niteroi tramway project (Brazil)
Critical review of the four-corridor Bus Rapid System (BRS) network in João Pessoa (Brazil)

Governance and financial sustainability

Supporting public authorities in addressing institutional organizational challenges, including the structuring of Mobility Organizing Authorities (MOAs) and the search for financial balance. For this second aspect, DVDH studies the network’s attractiveness, the generation of additional revenue, and the control of operating and maintenance expenses.

Examples of achievements:

Studies to define the pricing policy of Casablanca (Morocco)
Structure of the Regional Transport Authority for the Cali metropolitan area (Colombia)

International cooperation

Lead and ensure the technical coordination of international cooperation projects, identify projects, build capacity, and provide ad hoc expert services on various topics (AOM, the relationship between mobility and urban planning, operation and maintenance of transport systems, pricing policy).

Examples of achievements:

Technical cooperation in India
Technical cooperation in Peru
