Laura Cornelis

Project Manager – Geographer

After completing a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Planning, during which she studied for a year at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), she obtained a professional master’s degree in Territorial Management of Sustainable Development (Bordeaux Montaigne University), completing her final internship at Des Villes et Des Hommes. Laura has been part of the team since March 2014.

She has solid experience in international projects and has participated in the organisation and moderation of several participatory workshops and seminars (Cuba, Ecuador, India, Thailand, Cameroon). Laura has also coordinated feasibility studies as a local coordinator, notably in Phuket, Thailand (study of a mobility strategy for the island and restructuring of the bus network), and in Havana, Cuba (mobility study in a key corridor of the capital: diagnosis and identification of actions, and definition of an investment plan). She has extensive experience in processing and analysing survey data and mapping it.
