Etienne Lhomet

Director

French engineer from the Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat (ENTPE), Etienne has extensive expertise in engineering and project management for urban transport systems. He has practical, in-depth experience in the design of major projects and associated restructuring, whether for tramways or dedicated bus lanes, acquired in European cities (Porto, Lisbon, Nice, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Liège) and in cities in emerging countries (Addis Ababa, Casablanca, Rabat, Kochi, Hyderabad, Arequipa, Guarulhos, Niterói).

After leading several urban transport projects at Semaly (now Egis Rail) and then at the Urban Community of Bordeaux (between 2005 and 2011), he and his wife Sylvie founded their own consulting firm based on an integrated approach to transport issues, combining mobility, land use planning and lifestyles.

With a focus on sharing his experience, Etienne Lhomet is regularly called upon to speak at training sessions and conferences on transport and urban mobility issues.
