The study consists in carrying out a sustainable public and artisanal transport plan for the agglomeration of Pondicherry, in India. In addition to the bus network, the “tempos” network and the operation of the rickshaws are also analyzed.<\/p>\n

The diagnosis is supplemented in particular by a household travel survey, origin-destination surveys, road counts and surveys specific to public transport.
\nThree stages of mobility policies, from the least to the most ambitious are proposed and evaluated in terms of financial criteria and modal distribution.<\/p>\n

DVDH proposes an action plan with short-term “quick-wins” and medium- and long-term actions.
