The BRS corridors represent an intermediate option between Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, with open stations and no passing lanes.\r\n\r\nThe consortium's role is to assess the viability of these projects, identify areas for improvement, and propose a restructuring of the bus network to ensure the success of these corridors. DVDH is conducting extensive surveys, including traffic counts, interviews, and focus groups with women and residents of disadvantaged neighborhoods, to produce a thorough analysis of current traffic flows and needs. We are also conducting a financial analysis and reviewing existing concession contracts and developing a multimodal concept that identifies the role of each mode of transport and alternative routes.
