Currently, there is no dedicated bus lane, and public transportation accounts for only 15% of daily trips. Eusebio Ayala Avenue is one of the corridors that concentrates most of the city&#8217;s bus lines and services, as well as numerous businesses. A Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project was initiated a few years ago but was abandoned. The Vice Ministry of Transportation (within the Ministry of Public Works and Communications) now wishes to study the feasibility of a BRT corridor.<\/p>\n<p>DVDH is tasked with developing a strategic model, overseeing on-site traffic counts, and analyzing current demand based on the count results and other collected primary data. Its role also includes estimating future demand and developing a multimodal concept for the corridor.
