With a doctorate in pharmacy, she spent five years researching on the themactic “cancer and the environment” at the CNRS and the National Health Institute in Washington. When she returned to France, Sylvie became involved in improving quality of life at the local level, focusing on possible solutions for preserving a healthy environment. She helped found an AMAP (Association for the Preservation of Small Farming) and an association called Les \u00c9copains to encourage families to adopt sustainable development practices.<\/p>\n
Sylvie is now even more involved at the local level, as a member of her municipality’s municipal team, where she also serves as deputy for sustainable development.
